Privacy Policy

Last updated: [ 08/01/2026 ]

I take your privacy seriously — probably because I’m just as tired of vague, confusing privacy policies as you are. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens when you visit Shuvika.com, what information gets collected, and what I do (and don’t do) with it.

By using this site, you’re agreeing to the practices described below. If anything here doesn’t sit right with you, feel free to reach out and ask questions before continuing to use the site.

What Information Gets Collected

Information you give me directly If you fill out the contact form, leave a comment, or sign up for updates, I’ll have your name, email address, and whatever message you send. That’s it — I’m not asking for anything beyond what’s needed to actually respond to you.

Information collected automatically Like most websites, Shuvika.com picks up some technical details automatically when you visit — things like your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you viewed, and how you got here (referring links). This happens through cookies and standard analytics tools, not through anything you actively submit.

One thing I want to be clear about: I don’t collect or store personal health information. If you’re reading an article about thyroid symptoms or your child’s nutrition, I have no way of knowing (or wanting to know) your personal medical details. The site simply isn’t set up to gather that kind of data.

Kids and Privacy

Some of what I write covers baby care, child nutrition, and pregnancy — but that content is written for the parents and caregivers reading it, not for children. This site isn’t directed at kids under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone that age. If it ever turns out that happened by accident, I’ll delete it as soon as I find out.

Cookies

Cookies help the site remember things like your preferences and help me understand which content is actually useful (so I can write more of what people want, less of what they skip). Ad networks may also use cookies to show you more relevant ads. You’re free to turn cookies off in your browser settings — the site will still work, though a few things might not run as smoothly.

Ads and Affiliate Links

I’ll be upfront: this site makes money partly through advertising (like Google AdSense) and affiliate links (like the Amazon Associates program). If you click a link and buy something, I may earn a small commission — at zero extra cost to you. It doesn’t change what I recommend; I only link to things I’d genuinely suggest to a friend.

Ad networks may use cookies based on your browsing history across different sites to show ads that are more relevant to you. If you’d rather opt out of that kind of personalized advertising, you can adjust it through Google’s Ad Settings or at aboutads.info.

Tools I Use Behind the Scenes

To keep the site running, I rely on a few third-party services — things like Google Analytics for traffic insights, Google AdSense for ads, and an email platform if you subscribe to updates. Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data, separate from mine.

Who Sees Your Information

I don’t sell your data — full stop. The only times information gets shared is with the service providers who help run the site behind the scenes (hosting, email delivery, analytics), or if I’m legally required to disclose something. That’s it.

Keeping Things Secure

I take reasonable steps to protect the information collected here, but I’ll be honest — no website can promise 100% security. If you’re ever concerned about something you’ve shared, reach out and I’ll help however I can.

Your Rights

Depending on where you’re located, you may have the right to see what data I have on you, ask me to correct or delete it, opt out of marketing emails, or withdraw consent for how your data is used (this applies especially if you’re covered under GDPR or CCPA). If you want to exercise any of these, just email me — details are below.

Links to Other Sites

You’ll find links throughout the site pointing to studies, products, or other resources. Once you click through, you’re on someone else’s site with their own rules, and I’m not responsible for what happens there.

If This Policy Changes

I may update this page occasionally as the site grows or laws change. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version, and continuing to use the site after an update means you’re okay with the changes.

Questions?

If anything here is unclear, or you just want to know more about how your information is handled, email me directly at [masterweb205@gmail.com] or use the contact form.
